Charging and battery
A rechargeable battery sits sealed inside the light box. About 30 minutes on the USB cable gives about 2 to 3 hours of light. No batteries to buy.
Materials and fit
Nylon strap about 1 inch wide with the LED strip built in, side-release buckle, chrome-plated D-ring. Every size adjusts across its whole neck range. Fit it so two fingers slide underneath. The light sits below your dog's eyes and glows outward, so it never shines in their eyes.

Measure the neck
Wrap a soft tape around the middle of your dog's neck and pick the size that number sits inside.

Fit it
Buckle it on and adjust the strap until two fingers slide flat underneath. Snug, not tight.

Switch on and go
Press the button for flash, again for slow flash, again for steady. Clip your leash to the D-ring and head out.

Charging and battery
Does it need charging?
Yes. A small rechargeable battery sits inside the light box. Plug in the USB cable from the box for about 30 minutes and you get about 2 to 3 hours of light. When the light starts to look weak, charge it again.
How long does the light last?
About 2 to 3 hours on a full charge. That covers most evening walks.
What do I charge it with?
The USB cable in the box. Plug it into any USB wall plug, laptop or power bank.
Do I need to buy batteries?
No. It recharges with the cable, so there are no batteries to buy or swap.
Fit and comfort
Which size do I need?
Every size is adjustable, so you only need the one that covers your dog's neck. Measure around the middle of your dog's neck with a soft tape and pick the size that number sits inside: S 13.5-16 in, M 15-18 in, L 16.5-20 in, XL 17-22 in. Got it wrong? We'll send the right size free.
Will it fit a small dog?
The smallest size starts at 13.5 in (34 cm), so it's made for medium and large dogs. Please measure first.
Is it comfortable?
It's a flat nylon strap about 1 inch wide, like an everyday collar, with the light strip built into the strap rather than sitting on top. Fit it so two fingers slide flat underneath: snug, not tight.
Will the light bother my dog?
No. The light sits around the neck, below your dog's eyes, and glows outward through the strap. It lights your dog up for everyone else without shining into their eyes, and it's a soft glow, not a beam. If your dog seems unsure the first time, start on steady (no flashing) for the first few walks.
Can my dog wear it all day?
Yes. It's a normal collar with a buckle and a D-ring, and the light only runs when you switch it on. As with any collar, take it off when your dog is home alone or in a crate.
Safety
Is it safe for my dog?
The light strip runs inside the strap and the battery sits inside the small plastic light box, so there are no loose wires or dangling parts. Fit it so two fingers slide underneath, and take it off for unsupervised time, like any collar.
Will cars and cyclists see my dog?
That's the point of it: the strap glows, so your dog is much easier to spot in the dark from the front, the sides and behind. It isn't a substitute for a leash or care at crossings.
Durability and care
Is it durable?
It's built like a regular collar: a nylon strap, a firm side-release buckle and a chrome-plated metal D-ring. If it stops working within 30 days, we replace it or refund you.
Can it get wet?
Yes, it's waterproof. Rain, puddles, wet grass and muddy walks are all fine. Just dry the charging port before you plug it in.
How do I clean it?
Wipe it with a damp cloth.
